When planning your D/s, start small. Make the rules you choose simple and respectful, things one can easily check up on or notice regularly. (Ex: mine are punctuality, articulation, and manners!)

The biggest obstacle people often find is being taken out of their headspace when a top fails to notice a broken rule. I totally get wanting to have an intricate and byzantine system you are forced to live under, or forcing someone else to, but its very difficult to square with the realities of modern life right away! Work up to it. This is the adventure you and your partner are on together.

A short and consistent list of rules is miles better than a long one you both constantly mess up.
