I just….really appreciate that he’s not condescending towards her because of her age. Like he recognizes that she knows more about the tech than he does and defers to her guidance. And it lets them stop every cargo ship from escaping. It’s just so refreshing to see an older person, especially an older white man, accept that the young, black girl knows more than he does.
